Customer photo review of thermal paper - transparent

Making cyanotypes using negatives made from the transparency paper. Here I’m trying animation but haven’t gotten the exposure time down. This has been a huge help to my artistic process!

I’ve been using the transparent sticker paper as negatives for cyanotypes. Very great at making lots of images and whole reason I bought it. Going to order more transparencies soon haha.

It was so easy to set and use which was a blessing for me as so many tech things can be a pain to set up and understand. It's a wonderful little gadget and can take and use anywhere :)

I mainly use my mini printer to print address labels for a hobby I have, sending/exchanging postcards from around the world. It prints like a dream, and when addresses are in a recipient’s own language, I’m saved from having to write complicated addresses and can ensure accuracy.

The stickers allow me to create my own sentimental images. When I write about my son I personalized stickers.

Update - This has proven to be very reliable. I use it almost every day. It works great. It saves me tons of time for shipping orders. I liked it so much, I recommended it to a school I volunteer with and they bought one too, but not for shipping labels, just for stickers. It prints stickers super fast, so when they go to events, they can make unique custom designs for any event, and can basically print as many as they need in virtual real time. right from their phone. The labellife software that came with it is very useful as well. They also use them to print custom name tags. There are a large variety of stickers and labels to chose from and they have all worked fine with this printer. Original Review - I have thought about getting a label printer for a long time. But, I didn't think I really needed one. I already have a laser printer and an inkjet printer, and they print labels just fine. I probably ship 10-20 packages per week. What I have been doing is using half sheet 8.5x11 labels. The problem with them is that most of what I ship are 4x8 mailers. Because of this, I have to cut the labels down after they are printed so they fit on the envelope. Also, I often only need to print one label, so I feed the sheet through with the one label. Then I have to remove it from the paper and cut it, before I put it on the mailer.I got some 4x6 labels to try to print them, but they are too small to work in the laser, and they smudge in the inkjet. So, I finally broke down and got a thermal label printer.I first tried setting this up with my phone. It seemed to be detected and paired no problem, but when I would try to print, I wouldn't see it listed in the app I was using. There was mention of an app I could install, but I didn't want to install an app on my phone. I will revisit that later, but I just wanted to see if I could get it to work, so the next thing I did was connect it to my Windows laptop using the included USB cable. There was mention in the directions of a Windows driver for it, but Windows seemed to detect it no problem.Next I opened an order, set printer settings to print 4x6 labels, and printed. It printed, really fast. I was surprised how fast it came out. Seems like lightning compared to a laser or an inkjet.Looking at the label, it was nice and clear, but there was one flaw and that was the first two characters of the return address were clipped off. I went into the printer settings and selected scale to printable area, and printed again, and now I could see everything. It seemed like there was still a line from the right hand border still missing, but that is just Aesthetics, so I called it good.So set up time was maybe 5 minutes unsuccessfully setting it up with my phone, and 5 minutes successfully setting it up hardwired to a Windows PC. Long term, I think I would prefer to do it with my phone, so I am going to look into that more and will update this reviewAs for the labels, I just set a stack of fanfold 4x6 labels behind the printer, and they seem to feed in just fine.I now realize, I should have got one of these a long time ago. I definitely recommend it.

Small thermal printer that is good for printing 4X6 shipping labels. The print quality is excellent. It comes with a few labels to get you started, but you’ll need to purchase more labels fairly soon. This is not a WiFi printer, so it won’t show up on your phone as a printer choice. You’ll need to download the app. We use it for EBay labels. Just download the label to your phone, then open it up in the app and print. Very simple to use. You can also print from your PC, but it will need to connect to your computer with the included USB cable. There’s also a Mac adaptor to print from a Mac computer. It’s a must have if you’re doing any kind of e-commerce.

A brilliant little thermal printer, perfect for personal or business use. We have already used it a few times for printing our own returns labels, as well as address labels for Christmas cards. It is very easy to set up and to use, the app is simple and quick to create and print labels. The label print quality is great - not quite as sharp as an ink jet printer but definitely suitable for returns labels/barcodes etc. Fantastic, happy to recommend.

This is a Bluetooth printer in black. It came very well-packed and of good quality. I found it easy to use via the app, and I followed the quick guide to download that app which was very fast. It printed the label very quickly and in very good quality. I like the style and that it is small and easy to store. It comes with some printer labels but I do need to buy more. Easy to connect to my Android phone. It is compatible with many major platforms. I like that it is suitable for multiple-size labels. This print itself is very clear and not smudged. The printer does not require any ink which I find amazing. All I need is the labels and that's it. Great printer. Would definitely recommend it.

I love this, and it’s pink! Super easy to set up, follow the instructions and it works just fine. I used my phone for connection which was easy and label printed off really easily. Had to clean the roller after my first label had a stripe down the middle but after that, labels came out clear and readable. Makes it very easy now if I ever need to send or return something and don’t have a proper printer. Recommend

My daughter sells a lot of goods on eBay and normally just prints the labels off on a standard printer so this seemed ideal, she found it easy to set up and uses it via an APP on her phone, she has so far printed quite a few labels with no problems, it prints quite fast and the labels having a sticky back can now just be stuck straight on the packages. The printer looks neat, works well and saves time if you do a lot of posting, it comes with 20 labels but you can get 500 labels from their website.

Very nice, quiet label printer. You do have to download the drivers and use it with USB to print from regular windows applications. If you use their label software, you can connect via bluetooth, but the functionality is a bit more limited. You can also create and print from your phone as well. That's a nice touch. The print quality is excellent. If you need a reasonably priced label printer - get this one.Highly recommended.

I sell Luxury Press Ons @NailsXLuciaY. *I originally bought this for my shipping labels. I have a small business and spend about $30 on ink per month on my regular printer. This made sense as it paid itself off in 3 months.Set up: super easy, I print from my phone with the Bluetooth feature.Omg when I started experimenting with designing little sticker toppers for my shipment boxes ! I’ve also ordered circle stickers to customize them. To think I’ve been paying to have these customized and printed.I am so excited for the possibilities this will allow me in improving my customer experience.

Setup is pretty straightforward. I used Bluetooth on my mobile and was up and printing in no time. The device itself also connects to a PC and Mac. While I have also tested it on my Windows laptop I have not yet tested it with a Mac. There is a USB type A to type C adaptor for use with Macs included. I don't believe that Bluetooth works with Macs. The printer comes with a few labels but you're going to need to buy more pretty much immediately. This makes printing and affixing labels incredibly simple. I would recommend it to anyone who posts a lot of parcels. I ship stuff to my relatives in Japan and the US so do a fair bit (birthdays etc.). This is very handy for me as a result. You don't have to be a business to benefit. My only negative is the price. It is more expensive than some others and I don't know how much better it is. It isn't loads more so maybe it is worth it. As these printers are fairly bare bones I can't imagine there is much between them... but this is the only one I've tested so can't say for sure. Still, it's very good and thoroughly recommended.

I am absolutely amazed. This printer is so small and easy to put away. I have a hutch and it slides perfectly in. The design is sleek, clean, and simple. There’s only a couple buttons to deal with. The button to calibrate it and the on and off switch. It’s easy and self explanatory to put together as wellSet Up:This set up was extremely simple!!! The manual was well explained. I have a chromebook and it does indeed work with chromebook. The chromebook extension is on the last page, and all I needed to do was download Labelife, view, and set up the given dimensions. Super simple and took less than five minutes to completely set up.Printing:I use Pirate Ship to print my labels so I had to make sure it was compatible. I created my label and clicked print. I got the option for my new printer, clicked it, and it took me to a new window and automatically printed the label. The first print was super janky. I adjusted the paper inside and it recalibrated WITHOUT WASTING LABELS. The second print was almost right so I slightly adjusted it again and it recalibrated once more and finally, third times a charm. Perfection, vivid, and clear. I only wasted 2 labels which is fantastic.Cons:The Only con I have so far is that it came with only 10 labels, 2 which were wasted. Super super cheap amount of labels especially for the $140 price tag or the current $87 price tag even. My first label printer came with WAY more.Final thoughts:This thing is truly simply and easy. My original label printer was huge, bulky, and annoying to set up. It took up so much room and was not chrome compatible so I had to work with my old computer. To have this label printer, is just a huge upgrade. I absolutely recommend but definitely buy some extra labels for sure.

I bought this little printer for my small business, to make branding stickers, create barcodes, and print shipping labels- all of which it can do, quickly and efficiently! Within about 5 minutes of getting the printer out of the box, I was printing labels. The app is easy to use- you can even make barcodes for your items right inside the app! I plan to also sell stickers and labels, so this little cutie is going to pay for itself.

I really like the printer; it's super fast and efficient. Very easy to install, and it works very well with the LabelLife app. The only thing is, maybe you need some Photoshop skills to adapt the label to the correct dimensions. It was a pleasant surprise that it includes an adapter from USB-B to USB-C, which was needed for my Mac. The aesthetics of the printer are great; it's so nice to have it around! I'm very happy with my purchase. It also includes 20 papers to start with, but I'd recommend buying more papers separately.
